I moved to Florida 17 years ago just in time for the trifecta of hurricanes. Born in Riverdale, New York, with most of my family in Massachusetts, I was unsure if I made the right move, but once October came, I forgot all about Charley, Frances, and Jeanne, who? In the aftermath, I knew I had found my home. My father was in the Air Force so we moved from place to place when I was growing up. Making each new place "home" was very important to us. The greater Daytona Beach area became my new home, one where I have lived the longest. Travel is my passion; I love meeting new people and exploring new places.
